Question 1

What conferences can I simulate with the CFB Standings Simulator?

Accepted Answer

You can simulate the 2026 SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, and ACC college football conference standings. Each conference has its full schedule, teams, and official tiebreaker rules built in.

Question 2

How do conference tiebreakers work in the simulator?

Accepted Answer

The simulator follows each conference's official tiebreaker procedures, including head-to-head results, records vs. common conference opponents, strength of conference schedule, and rating-based tiebreakers. When teams are tied in the standings, the tiebreaker resolves automatically and shows which step broke the tie.

Question 3

Can I auto-fill game winners by FPI or AP Poll ranking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can auto-fill all remaining games using ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) rankings, the AP Poll rankings, the preseason media poll, or home-field advantage. FPI and AP Poll data update weekly throughout the season.

Question 4

Is the CFB Standings Simulator free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the CFB Standings Simulator is completely free. No account or sign-up is required to use the simulator.
